The Kanawha-Charleston Health Department will remain open to offer flu vaccines on Columbus Day, Monday Oct. 14, 2019. No appointments are needed.
People who come to get a flu vaccine should bring their insurance health card. Low-cost flu vaccines are available for adults without health insurance. No-cost flu vaccines are available for children without health insurance through the Vaccines for Children program.
The flu vaccine clinic will be from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Kanawha-Charleston Health Department, 108 Lee Street East in Charleston.
Everyone age 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine every year.
